Princeton’s girls golf season wrapped up during section play on May 30 at Grand National Golf Course in Hinckley.
Tiger Senior Kelsey Dorr shot the best round for Princeton with an 87, just one stroke shy of her advancing to the second round of sections.
Head coach Derek Hasselberg noted that Dorr showed great improvement during the season and was a good mentor for the rest of the team.
“She was a good example for our younger players and her presence on the team will be missed.” Said Hasselberg.
Princeton finished eleventh in the section. Forest Lake was the section champion.
Looking towards next season, Hasselberg stated that for the team to take a step in the right direction, they will just need more experience.
“Our returning players need to simply get out and play in the off season for that would help them tremendously when they return for the 2020 season.”
