In what were very wet conditions, the Tigers’ boys golf regular season came to an end after the conference meet on May 23 at Riverwood National Golf Course in Monticello.
Junior Jack Southard once again paced the team, leading the way with a total score of 157 for his two rounds which earned him a tenth place finish in the meet.
Head Coach Derek Hasselberg says Southard could take his game to another level if he were to improve his putting. “He’s leaving two to three shots out on the golf course with putting alone.” Said Hasselberg.
Noah Temp shot the second best score for the Tigers with a 165 as he finished 23rd overall.
Princeton finished sixth in the ten team conference meet.
St. Michael Albertville won the meet, edging Buffalo for the title
Southard also was awarded All Conference for his performance this year as he aims to repeat as a state participant.
Section play began on May 29 for the Tigers.
