I am disappointed with the Union-Times, specifically the Thursday, Feb. 7 edition. My disappointment stems from an article that was tucked way back on Page 15. I’m referring to the “First National Bank of Milaca honored for it’s community involvement” piece.
First National was one of 35 banks in the state of Minnesota to be honored by the Minnesota Bankers Association for their involvement with the community of Milaca.
Being one of those 35 banks in the state and considering there are approximately 268 banks in Minnesota, it goes without saying this is a remarkable achievement.
Hence, my disappointment.
Now this award may not be considered as newsworthy to the good folks in Princeton but it most certainly is to your readers in Milaca. It certainly deserves better placement in your paper than to be buried next to the last page.
