Julaine Faye Anderson

Julaine Faye Anderson, age 83, passed away peacefully with family present on June 4, 2019. Julaine was born to Albert and Julia Roskam on July 3, 1935 in Dell Rapids, S.D. She grew up rural Henry, S.D. and graduated from Henry High School, where she was homecoming queen and Valedictorian and received the Citizenship Award. After receiving her B.A., she taught in a one-room school house. On June 29, 1956, she was united in God’s togetherness of Holy Union to Clarence Anderson of Hazel, S.D. in the Methodist Church there. Together they raised six children, living in Cedar, MN for 40 years. Julaine enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, gardening, and the long-time friendships she made with her Bible study group of 48 years. She was recently crowned Queen of Elim Care Center in Princeton where she resided. Julaine is survived by her five daughters, Deloris of Elk River, Dianne of San Pablo, CA, Debra Young of Big Lake, Julie Flaherty (Tim) of Zimmerman and Roberta Nordby (Jeff) of Hinckley; many grandchildren; many, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Anderson; son, Delbert; two infant great-grandsons. Services will be held Saturday, June 29th at Freshwaters Methodist Church, 112 7th Ave. N., Princeton. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. with the service at 11 a.m.
