Gerald G. Johnson, 84, passed away peacefully at the Elim Home in Princeton on July 29, 2019 after a long illness. Jerry was a graduate of Princeton High School. He worked as a machinist and later as a meat cutter at J&B Wholesale in St. Michael. He loved to hunt and fish. He loved his little dog Molly. He is survived by four children, Randy (Peggy), Rebecca (Bob), Renee (Mark) and Rodney (Amy); ex-wife and friend Judy; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He leaves sisters, Dolly Ann Fairchild and Linda Schirer (Dan). He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and HattieMae Johnson; his son Ryan; and his brothers Russell (Dorothy), Donnie (Marion) and Donoval. A special thank you to his devoted friend Jerry Albrect. Also, the family wishes to thank the staff at the Elim Home for their loving care and also the nurses from Guardian Angels Hospice. A celebration of life will be held at the Elim Home Chapel, 701 1st St., Princeton, on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 3-5 p.m. Interment at Princeton Cemetery immediately following.
