What makes Minnesota special? It’s our public parks, lakes, rivers, trails, forests, and places such as the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

People from all over the world come to visit the BWCA because of its incredible beauty, diverse ecosystem, and crystal-clear waters. Peace and tranquility live there, and when you visit you are sure to meet them. Time in nature refreshes our mind and rejuvenates the soul, it is essential to our quality of life.

But the BWCA and other public lands are at great risk because of decisions made by people who fail to see the value of natural places. They want to close, sell or hinder the purchase of and use of public lands. They want exploit them for money. You can’t put a price tag on clean water or nature’s beauty and all life that depends on it. It’s God’s handiwork, and we are called to be good stewards.

If you love the outdoors and our public places, please speak out and let people now that they are important. And vote for those who care about and will fight to protect our public lands. Emy Minzel will fight to keep our water clean, and our public places intact for us and our families to enjoy.
