A Sherburne County Jail inmate was taken to the hospital Wednesday, June 27,after experiencing a medical emergency, according to Sheriff Joel Brott.
Four jail medical personnel, who are contract clinical staff, were taken to the hospital after at least one reported tingling in their fingers, raising concerns about a possible exposure to opioids, Brott said.
The inmate remains hospitalized, Brott said. The initial screening indicated that the inmate was not under the influence of any illegal substances, according to Brott. Any other personal medical information about the inmate is prohibited by statute.
