Singer Michael Monroe is scheduled play at Apple Valley’s Kelley Park for a second time this summer, according to the Apple Valley Arts Foundation.
Monroe is returning for a free concert Saturday, Aug. 24, from 6-8:30 p.m. at the park, 6855 Fortino St.
“It’s going to be a great evening. Thanks to all who value and support live music in Apple Valley,” the foundation said in an email.
Monroe lives and records music on the North Shore of Lake Superior in his solar powered log cabin. He performs original acoustic folk, reggae and jazz. He performed on June 28 as part of the Music in Kelley Park concert series.
