Farmington Liquors kicked off its annual Animal Donation Drive during the month of October to support Farmington Police K-9 Officer Odin.

“Farmington’s K-9 program is funded entirely by donations, and it's up to us to support Odin and the great work he does for our community and those that surround us,” said Blair Peterson, liquor operations manager. “This will be an event the kids won’t want to miss.”

All supplies and monetary donations will be collected Oct. 1-31, and will fund Odin’s veterinarian expenses, food, and equipment and training expenses.

To make a donation, families can have their picture taken with Odin at the following Meet & Greet sessions:

• noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Farmington Liquors, 109 Elm St.

• noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at Farmington Liquors Pilot Knob store, 18350 Pilot Knob Road
