Compeer Financial celebrated its Lakeville office opening with a recent ribbon cutting with the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce and open house. The Farm Credit cooperative will bring 90 team members to this new office location.
The office building, which was newly constructed, is at 21088 Keswick Loop, west of Interstate 35 at County Road 70.
At 30,000-square-feet and two stories high, the office is designed to provide a welcoming environment for visiting clients while encouraging collaboration and productivity among team members. Building features include open workspaces, private meeting rooms and a training center for team development and client education.
“This centralized location allows us to be part of this great community while maintaining close proximity to our clients in rural communities,” said CFO Jase Wagner at the event. “We’re proud to serve this area and look forward to becoming part of the community.”
Compeer Financial is a member-owned cooperative that serves agriculture and rural communities, providing loans, leases and risk management services to clients throughout Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The organization’s mission is to enrich agriculture and rural America. Through its corporate giving fund, the Fund for Rural America, Compeer Financial gives back 1 percent of net earnings to grants and scholarships that help make rural communities vibrant places to work and live.
This location is Compeer Financial’s first new office building since the organization was created through a merger of three Farm Credit cooperative associations in 2017.
The new Lakeville office combines team members and services previously housed in Compeer Financial’s former Northfield and Apple Valley office locations. The first day of business for the Lakeville office was May 20.
