The Eagan Police Department has identified the individual involved in a suspicious person case at Patrick Eagan Park June 6-7.
According to the Eagan Police Department, a juvenile was playing a “prank” in the woods near the park.
There had been reports of a man wearing a mask in the woods on June 6 and 7 at the Art Park near the zipline area.
The department received a report of a man who crawled out of the woods wearing a mask who stumbled toward a bench while several families were present.
Another report from a female jogger stated she had heard a male raspy voice who said “come over here.” She didn’t turn around and instead ran back to the parking lot.
The next day the department received a report of a male in the woods wearing a blue mask.
It does not appear there is a public safety threat at this time, but the department recommends reporting any suspicious activity immediately in the future.
