Caponi Art Park will host its first installment of the 2019 Music+Beer season at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15.
The Americana music and craft beer series in the Theater in the Woods aims to create the perfect evening from families, to first dates.
Performing will be Annie Mack and Kashimana.
Headliner Annie Mack, is a regional power house who has built a reputation for writing meaningful, relatable and inspirational songs. Live, she delivers her songs with power, soul and conviction. A dynamic vocalist and charismatic performer, she takes the audience on a journey; from velvet lined melodic depths to exciting, gritty, full bodied church hollers.
Kashimana a singer-songwriter with a rich soulful blues voice that soars through her original pop acoustic compositions.
During the event, the park is hosting a collection site for The Open Door; a hunger relief organization based in Eagan
The Open Door is requesting the following most needed items: canned tuna or chicken, peanut butter, hearty soups, toilet paper and 100 percent fruit juice.
Admission is $10 per person presale, $12 at the door and free for children under 12. Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket. Any weather related announcements will be made via the park’s website, e-newsletter, Facebook, and Twitter.
Located on 60-acres of rolling wooded hills in Eagan, Caponi Art Park is a community space offering cultural and educational experiences in a natural setting that blends art and nature.
Caponi Art Park, a nonprofit organization, is open to the public May through October, every day except Monday at 9 a.m. and is located on Diffley Road east of Interstate 35E, between Pilot Knob Road and Lexington Avenue.
