Concert series gets an encore

Singer Mick Sterling, who assembled the Relief Sessions drive-in concert series held this summer in the parking lot of the Burnsville Ice Center, performed his Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band tribute for one of two shows on closing night, July 24. Except it wasn’t closing night. Sterling announced that the series is being extended, from Aug. 27 through Sept. 7, and expanded to include a total of 48 musical acts. Four or five performances will be held daily from noon to 8:45 p.m. Information and tickets are at www.thereliefsessions.com.
