Four area students, Cameron Biggar, Morgan Frantes, Owen Kipp and Lia Lemieux, are performing in Circus Juventas’ summer show, “TWISTED,” July 26 to Aug. 11. This year’s performance is a celebratory spectacle for the company’s 25th anniversary season. The summer show will emphasize the artistic beauty of cirque nouveau in a blend of circus, dance and theater.

Biggar attends Eastview High School, Frantes is a graduate of the School of Environmental Studies, Kipp attends Dakota Hills Middle School and Lemieux attends Eagan High School.

Among the nearly 1,000 students at Circus Juventas, 71 skilled performers are in this year’s summer show.

Biggar, 15, and Frantes, 18, have been with Circus Juventas for one and six years, respectively. Kipp, 13, and Lemieux, 17, study circus arts at Circus Juventas.

“TWISTED” takes place when the fairy tale world is thrown for a loop when Russian sorceress Baba Yaga and her sisters brew up a devilish plan to tangle the traditional tales and sow the seeds of epic chaos, forcing beloved fairy tale characters to band together and strive to set their stories straight.

Tickets are available online, through Ticketworks by calling 612-343-3390, or at the Circus Juventas Box office at 1270 Montreal Ave., Saint Paul.

Ticket prices range from $18.50 for children 10 and under and seniors 65 and older, to $45 for VIP seating. All shows are held at the Circus Juventas big top.
