A shopping center in the heart of northern Dakota County with a newly remodeled Cub Foods welcomed a new nail salon with a build-out designed by CNH Architects in Apple Valley.
The 1,800-square-foot Tu Nails in Apple Valley on 153rd Street has attractive features, according to Senior Project Designer Al Tsai with CNH. A monumental entry, tall coffered ceilings, stone walls, fireplaces and waterfalls set off a “fire and water” lounge with notable light fixtures and quality finishes, he said.
“We took advantage of 3-D perspective imaging to help our client visualize the design and what his finished space would look like,” Tsai said. “As a result, there was no design element missed.”
Overall, the challenge was to make a compact space feel spacious and the owner and designers agree that this was achieved. Tu Nails has 13 pedicure stations, eight manicure stations and a semi-private room for VIP guests.
The salon shares a building with Smashburger, Sport Clips and SotaRol restaurant. It offers natural and artificial nail services, pedicures and additional services. More information is available at tunailsapplevalley.com.
