St. Louis Park city officials will participate in several Parktacular events.

The St. Louis Park Police Department will participate in “Dunk a Cop!” 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 15. The St. Louis Park Police Explorers will raise money at the event. Prices are $5 for three balls, and $5 for five balls for children ages 10 and younger.

The city elections team will conduct a mock election at the Parktacular business expo 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 15 in Wolfe Park, 3700 Monterey Drive. Voters will have a chance to cast a sample ranked-choice ballot, pick up the city’s new voter guide and ask questions about how ranked-choice voting works. The system will be used for the first time in St. Louis Park city elections this November. Voters will receive a free JonnyPop and be able to vote on their favorite flavor at the Parktacular event.

The city will participate in Ecotacular 1-6 p.m. June 15 at Wolfe Park, the epicenter of Parktacular activities for the day. Visitors can play clean water mini-golf, visit the “Ask an Arborist” booth, check out a honeybee hive and more.
