To the Editor:
May I ask a question?
Do we teach our children by what we do in our life?
This weekend we watched, near Freeman Park, parents who disregarded the “no parking” signs all along Park Lane. Their children, in the car, were aware of what the parents were doing in ignoring the signs!
This concerns me! Will these innocent children grow up to think it is OK to ignore the law by what their parents do?
I heard a quote years ago and it goes like this: “Today these children are in our hands, but tomorrow we will be in their hands.” May I ask, what kind of hands will we be in?
I would be interested in what your readers think about this.
