To the Editor:

What a delightful surprise that Nadia Mohamed is (figuratively) tossing her hijab into the upcoming mayoral race. Once again, we are changing the guard in St. Louis Park. My leadership coincided with that of former mayor Jeff Jacobs and others of that era, crossing over into Mayor Jake Spano’s time in office. We invented important initiatives that were unique to SLP in that partners came together to collaborate, reinvesting in our community in a way that created better opportunities for all our citizens.
