Jessica Janoski has announced her candidacy for the St. Louis Park School Board.
“As a parent, I have already learned much about the schools from my daughters, their friends and their teachers but I want to hear from others as well,” Janoski said in her announcement.
Janoski, a 10-year resident of St. Louis Park, works as a benefits manager in the human capital department for TCF Bank. Her responsibilities include managing benefit plans, leading and mentoring a team, policy decisioning, serving as a resource for mergers and acquisitions, communications execution and completing system implementations. She has worked in the area of human resources for more than 11 years and has managed team members for much of her career. Managing budgets, sales targets, auditing, and managing inventory round out her experience.
“Our schools are an investment in our community and we need the school board to work with residents and staff to make sure we get the most out of every penny,” Janoski said in the statement. “I believe my private sector business experience could be helpful. Making sure the SLP school district is a safe environment for our children and staff and the district is efficiently run and accountable are top priorities.”
