St. Louis Park will host a free screening of the 2017 documentary “WASTED! The Story of Food Waste” Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Lenox Community Center Little Theater, 6715 Minnetonka Blvd., St. Louis Park.

There will be two showings, with seats available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The run time is 90 minutes, followed by a short discussion. The first showing will be 3:30-5:30 p.m. The second showing will be 6-8 p.m.

The Rockefeller Foundation supported Zero Point Zero Films and the late Anthony Bourdain to expose the magnitude of the problem of food waste globally while showing changes people can make to waste less. The film stars chefs like Bourdain, Dan Barber, Mario Batali, Massimo Bottura and Danny Bowien and considers how action can lead to new ways of using more food, feeding more people, curbing environmental damage, stimulating technology and business and improving the health and wellbeing of citizens worldwide.
