A weekend of St. Patrick’s Day fun at McCormick’s in Wayzata

McCormick’s Pub & Restaurant, 331 Broadway Ave. S. in Wayzata, invites guests to a March 17-18 St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

The weekend of festivities includes a beer garden, heated tent, traditional Irish food and live music.

Saturday, St. Patrick’s Day, begins with a 10 a.m. Catholic Mass. The pub opens at 11 a.m. for traditional celebrations that includes bagpipers, Irish dancers, traditional food and drinks and live music at noon from The Liam Gerard Duo and a 6 p.m. performance from Shag. A $5 cover charge begins at noon.

On Sunday, the tent outside the pub will host an 11 a.m. performance by the Rince Nua Irish Dancers. The tent will remain open for family fun until 1:30 p.m.

Guests can also buy a $10 raffle ticket for a chance to win $2,000 toward a trip to Ireland. All raffle proceeds benefit Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners’ Prevent Hunger campaign.
