Boys and girls lacrosse will crown respective state champions on Saturday, June 15, at Chanhassen High School. The tourney began Tuesday, June 11, with games split between Minnetonka and Chanhassen high schools. Consolation and championship semifinals are split between the two schools with Minnetonka handling the boys games (consolation semis at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and championship semis at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.)
Both boys third place (1 p.m.) and consolation (11 a.m.) finals will be played June 15 at Minnetonka.
Consolation and third place games for the girls tournament will be 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. June 15 at Chanhassen. The girls championship is set for 3:30 p.m. followed by the boys championship at 6 p.m.

The annual state baseball tournament began Thursday at some of the top ballparks in the state including the Mini Met in Jordan (Class A); Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud (Class AA); Siebert Field at the University of Minnesota (Class AAA) and CHS Field in St. Paul (Class AAAA). Quarterfinals and semifinals will be played at the four sites on June 13-14.
All four state championships will be decided on Thursday, June 20, at Target Field. Class A will begin the day at 10 a.m., Class AA at 1 p.m.; Class AAA at 4 p.m. and Class AAAA at 7 p.m.
Class AAA quarterfinals:
Benilde-St. Margaret’s is the No. 5 seed and opens play against No. 4 Marshall at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at Siebert Field. The winner returns to Siebert Field to place the winner of No. 1 Monticello/Duluth Denfield at noon on June 14 in the semifinals. Other quarterfinals: No. 2 Hill-Murray faces Austin at 3 p.m. and No. 3 St. Thomas Academy faces Little Falls at 5:30 p.m. with the winners playing at 2:30 p.m. June 14.
Class AAAA quarters
at CHS Field, St. Paul on June 14 – (1) Stillwater vs. Eden Prairie, 10 a.m.; (4) Mounds View vs. (5) East Ridge, 12:30 p.m.; (2) Blaine vs. New Prague, 3 p.m.; (3) Hopkins vs. Rogers 5:30 p.m. Winners return for the semifinals at noon or 2:30 p.m. June 15.
Class AA quarters
at Dick Puetz Field, St. Cloud on June 13 – (1) Duluth Marshall vs. Glencoe-Silver Lake, 10 a.m.; (4) Perham vs. (5) Paynesville, 12:30 p.m.; (2) Minnehaha Academy vs. LaCrescent-Hokah, 3 p.m.; (3) Foley vs. St. Peter, 5:30 p.m. Semifinals are at noon and 2:30 p.m. June 14.

State Clay Target
The Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake will host the Minnesota State High School League’s Clay Target state tournament on Friday, June 21.
