Minnetonka High School Class of 2018 will have their graduation ceremony at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 7, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The commencement ceremony was previously at Grace Church in Eden Prairie.

Minnetonka High School Class of 2018 graduation will be 7 p.m., Thursday, June 7, at U.S. Bank Stadium, 401 Chicago Ave., Minneapolis, with an entrance at the Legacy Gate.

The closest parking ramps to U.S. Bank Stadium are the Mill’s Fleet Farm and the DTE Ramp that range from $3- $10 per hour in cost. These ramps have handicap parking.

The light rail is another transportation option for students and families. There is a drop off is in front of the Legacy Gate entrance.

Students and staff members will be allowed to enter the stadium starting at 5 p.m. The Medtronic Plaza, located outside the Legacy Gate entrance, will be open for all to enjoy before the ceremony to take pictures and visit. Guests will be able to enter, through security, starting at 5:30 p.m. Gates to the stadium will open at 6:15 p.m. for guests to find their seat.

The ceremony will be live-streamed on YouTube and Facebook and a recording will be available online by Friday, June 8.

Several speakers will mark the occasion, including student speaker Annaka Buchstaber and English teacher Tony DeLorenzo, who was selected by a vote of the students.

Superintendent Dennis Peterson and High School Principal Jeff Erickson will also speak at the ceremony.

Sloan Sprau and Abby Ness will be the masters of ceremonies.

The combined Minnetonka High School Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble will  perform at the event.
