Robbinsdale Area School’s newest class of students ate cool treats and played Aug. 21 on the grounds of Northwood Park in New Hope for the Superintendent’s Ice Cream Social. The children donned “Class of 2032” T-shirts and played alongside their future classmates. Cheerleaders from Robbinsdale Cooper and Armstrong high schools led spirited chants for the young students to see and clap along, and a DJ played music to wiggle and jump to.
The first day of school in the district will be Tuesday, Sept. 3. The kindergarteners will attend one of 12 district elementary or magnet schools.
