The “Snodaze” tradition continued at Armstrong High School with this year’s theme “We’re on Cloud 9.” Events throughout spirit week included a pepfest, coronation and dance. Spirit week had students dressing up on special days. A pepfest emceed by Avital Harris and Danny Bies added to the celebration with the school band, staff/royalty Snodash relays, and special performances from the dance and cheer teams. Molly Krueger, winner of Armstrong Idol, sang an original song. Leading up to Snodaze, students and faculty nominate students, whom they believe uphold the values of Armstrong and positively influence others to the Royal Snodaze Court. Court representatives included sophomores Finley Rogan and Stella Ross, juniors Maggie McAlister and Jack Tuchtenhagen, and seniors Patrick Fox, Will Gorham, Paige Koenen, Chanel May, Elizabeth Neuville, James Ohm, Jaheim Smart and Priya Thomas. Ohm and Neuville were crowned senior class royalty king and queen. The festivities continued Jan. 25 with a dance at Leopold’s Mississippi Garden Event Center in Brooklyn Park.
