Brooklyn Park Mayor Jeff Lunde attended the sixth annual convening of Cities United in Hampton, Virginia, from Aug. 21-23. Launched in 2011, Cities United is a national movement focused on eliminating the violence in American cities among African-American men and boys. There are 92 mayors in the organization. Lunde is an advisory board member and has been a member of Cities United since it launched.
