Golden Valley Police Department

The Golden Valley Crime Prevention Fund board announced a scholarship opportunity for students enrolled in a state college, university, community college, vocational or technical institute who are taking “coursework in the area of criminal justice, law enforcement and/or community crime prevention may apply.”

According to a press release from the GVCPF, the board will accept applications and award $2,500 a year for a minimum of two years to the candidate of their choice. To apply for the scholarship, the student must be a United State citizen and must submit a letter of interest (two-page maximum) to GVCPF.
