Champlin Park girls tennis knocked off Park Center 7-0 on Sept. 6 to move to 5-3 in duals this season.

The Rebels started the season with a 4-3 win over Buffalo and a 6-1 win over Monticello on Aug. 19, a 4-0 win over Spring Lake Park on Aug. 20 and a 7-0 win over Andover on Aug. 22.

Champlin Park fell to Chisago Lakes 4-3 on Aug. 28 and 6-1 to Maple Grove on Sept. 4.

Freshman Alex Repplier is 4-2 at No. 1 singles so far. She defeated Park Center senior Khe Mee Yang 6-0, 6-3 on Sept. 6 but fell to Maple Grove sophomore Zoe Adkins 0-6, 1-6 on Sept. 4.

Senior Justina Palmer is also 4-2. She has played all but one match at No. 2 singles. Last week, she defeated Park Center junior Yong Ceng Yang 6-2, 6-0 and fell to Maple Grove senior Emily Carlson 1-6, 1-6.

Senior Clara Johnson is 4-2 with all but one match at No. 3 singles. She defeated Park Center junior Emily Lee 6-0, 6-1 and fell to Maple Grove sophomore Neeraja Uppala 5-7, 5-7 last week.

Eighth-grader Debbie Ogdahl is playing very well at No. 4 singles. She is 6-0 in that spot so far in 2019.

She defeated Park Center freshman Nasli Xiong 6-1, 6-0 and Maple Grove seventh-grader Maddie Larsen 6-1, 6-2 last week.

At No. 1 doubles, junior Keara Kelleher and sophomore Alyssa Ostendorf have been paired together six times so far and are 3-3. They defeated Park Center seniors Jaiplia Vang and Lauren Bartunek 3-6, 6-4, 10-6 and lost to Maple Grove juniors Grace Bakke and Ashley Denninger 1-6, 4-6.

Seniors Georgie Stammer and Sarah Manger have been paired together four times at No. 2 doubles and twice at No. 3 doubles and are 5-1 as a duo. They defeated Park Center seniors Serena Xiong and Cenying Yang 6-2, 6-0 and dropped a 6-3, 6-7, 6-8 match to Maple Grove senior Maddie Ross and sophomore Ally Kalinsky.

Senior Anna Kaltved and junior Kaija Howard added a 6-4, 6-0 win over Park Center seniors Starr Thao and Luna Vue at No. 3 doubles last week.
