The youth workforce development program Brooklynk is now accepting applicants for its Get Ready! training program.
Brooklynk is a collaborative effort between Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center that helps to provide skills for post-secondary education and career success. It also connects youth with summer internships.
The program’s Get Ready! training is a prerequisite to being considered for the youth internship program.
Anyone ages 14-24 that lives or attends school in Brooklyn Center of Brooklyn Park may sign up for the program.
There are three completion models for the training: a self-paced online program which opened Jan. 2; in-person programming on from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 18; and a virtual watch-party from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 25.
Registration is free for everyone who is eligible to participate.
