Robbinsdale Area Schools Superintendent Carlton Jenkins virtually addresses the 435 graduating students in Armstrong High School’s Class of 2020. “Take your rightful place. Go out and transform the world and continue to fight for human decency as you have shown those skill sets here in District 281,” the superintendent said in his speech. Armstrong Principal Erick Norby also offered his well wishes to the graduating class. “Congratulations on your determination and your grit to get through this,” the principal said. “We are proud of you. We love you, and we wish you nothing but success.” While the commencement was hosted online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the district has saved July 23 and 28 as potential dates for in-person graduation ceremonies.
