After picking up back-to-back wins by scoring four goals in each win over Coon Rapids then Irondale, Park Center’s offensive production took a dip in a pair of Northwest Suburban Conference last week.

On Saturday, the Pirates once again hit that magical goals number in a 4-3 win over Spring Lake Park on Saturday, Sept. 15 to improve to 3-4-1.

Gabby Beberg scored in the first half before the Panthers scored twice to enter the break down 2-1.

Spring Lake Park made it 3-1 with a penalty kick that was initially saved by Abbie Whittemore before the rebound deflected into the back of the Pirates goal.

Park Center rallied to score three times for the one-goal win. Lauren Frost narrowed the gap to 3-2 by scoring off a cross from Beberg. Megan Traeger converted a penalty kick after a Panthers player was whistled for a handball in the penalty area.

Brianna Thao scored the game-winner with an assist off the head of Traeger.

The Pirates drew 1-1 against Osseo on Sept. 6 as Frost scored in the opening half. before dropping a 2-1 result in a non-conference loss to Robbinsdale Cooper two days later on Saturday, Sept. 8 with a goal from Beberg.

The Pirates travel to Robbinsdale Armstrong on Tuesday, Sept. 25 for a 5 p.m. start.
