Although the people of Minnesota, as well as around the nation, voted loud and clear against the authoritarian movement (aka GOP), we must remain extremely vigilant in future elections.
Trump was only a tool, enabled by a corrupt, desperate Republican party. Fox “News” and Republicans have been propagating doom and gloom for over 25 years in preparation for someone like Trump. We can only hope he gets what he deserves, but that will not extinguish the rot and brainwashing that still permeates our society.
Now that we’ve witness the GOP agenda for our country (pro oil, pro rich tax cuts, climate denial, science denial, dismantling institutions, rolling back rights, unbridled corruption, destroying democracy, lying at all costs, etc. etc.), I strongly suggest that we watch closely what they do, not what they say – they have said enough.
