Ruth M. Hartmann

Ruth M. Hartmann, age 87 of St. Louis Park, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church (5900 West Lake Street) in St. Louis Park with Father Joseph Johnson as Celebrant of the Mass. Gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Waconia on Friday, July 19 at 11 a.m. Ruth was born on January 19, 1932 in Young America, MN, the daughter of Adolph and Lydia (Fillbrandt) Boehmke. On August 27, 1952, Ruth was united in marriage to Carl L. Hartmann at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waconia. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Carl; son Brian; grandson Tyler; five sisters, one brother. Ruth will be deeply missed by her family: daughter Kay (Steve) Wytaske; grandchildren Quinn Hartmann and fiancee Anna, Carly Wytaske, Hunter Wytaske, Jack Wytaske; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joan and Leon Siegle of Chaska; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ruth was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s activities. Ruth was also a crossing guard in St. Louis Park at local elementary schools, helping to keep children safe for over 20 years, a job she truly enjoyed.
