A Watertown man was found dead in a local park on Christmas Day, according to the Carver County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies received a report of an unresponsive male in Watertown’s Evergreen Park just before 5 p.m. on Dec. 25.
When deputies arrived at the park, Ridgeview paramedics were already on the scene. The man – later identified as 42-year-old Watertown resident Jamison “Jamie” Royce Soland – was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office continue to investigate the incident, but the sheriff’s office does not believe foul play was involved, according to a press release.
The sheriff’s office request that anyone with information about the incident - or other incidents in the county - contact the Carver County Sheriff’s Office at 952-361-1212.
