Dunkin’ will celebrate the grand opening of its new restaurant at 8300 University Avenue NE in Fridley, May 3-5. The new restaurant, owned by Kod Kod Enterprises LLC, features the brand’s next generation design, with a modern atmosphere and innovative technologies to make running on Dunkin’ faster and more convenient than ever before.

To kick off the grand opening, a Dunkin’ gift card and Dunkin’ travel cup will be given to the first 50 guests, beginning at 5am, Friday, May 3. Dunkin’ gift cards and travel cups will also be given to the first 50 guests on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5.

A ribbon cutting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on May 3 with Mayor Scott Lund, Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce members and Dunkin’ officials. A donation also will be presented to Southern Anoka Community Assistance at that time.

Cuppy and Sprinkles, the Dunkin’ mascots, will be onsite at the restaurant from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5.

Throughout the weekend, Dunkin’ will provide a 10 percent discount on all Dunkin’ gear and bulk coffee, and special offers on donuts, sandwiches and beverages.

The new 1,900-square-foot Fridley location is owned by Kod Kod Enterprises LLC, which also operates Dunkin’ restaurants in Andover and New Hope. Operating hours of the Fridley location are Monday to Friday, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
