To the Editor:
My wife and I recently moved to Shoreview after living 48 years in Mounds View. The reasons we’re supporting Kelly Moller are numerous. First, Kelly doesn’t equivocate when answering voter’s questions. That is, she doesn’t use ambiguous language so as to conceal the truth or avoid committing herself. She’s very clear on her positions on such things as gun violence prevention, strong environmental protections, accessible and affordable healthcare, improved transportation system, and quality education opportunities for all just to name a few. She also backs up these issue positions with specific suggestions to deal with them.
Second, Kelly is a good listener. She genuinely tries to get those she’s talking with, to share their stories and concerns. She encourages them to offer their ideas and solutions in trying to fix complicated issues.
Third, she is committed to a strong set of principles and values that guide her as a wife, mother, community member, and as a prosecuting attorney to treat all with dignity and respect. She learned these values and principles from her family, friends, teachers, colleagues, and her faith community.
And last, Kelly is not beholden to big money interests, outside PACs, and dark money advertising. This is greatly appreciated by my wife and I, especially during this mean and nasty period in our nation’s politics.
Kelly’s a hard worker, and she has a very well organized team helping her in her bid for voters support in this coming Nov. 6 election. We strongly ask you to join us in your support and vote for Kelly Moller as State Representative in District 42A (Arden Hills, Mounds View, Shoreview, and Spring Lake Park).
