Two students from Edina recognized by National Merit program at Providence Academy
Of Providence Academy’s seven seniors recently recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program, two are Edina residents.
Emily Foley and Sofia Orlandi were named National Merit Commended Students while earning the praise of Dr. Todd Flanders, president of the Plymouth private school.
“It is a testimony to our students, teachers, families and curriculum that nearly 10% of our senior class has received these honors,” Flanders said. “We are, of course, delighted and proud of these scholars, and of all of our students, who have chosen to commit to the special path in academics, arts and athletics that is Providence Academy.”
