For May 29 to June 4, Richfield Police responded to the following calls:

May 29 – A search warrant was executed on the 6200 block of Xerxes Avenue South.

Officers were dispatched to the 7400 block of Penn Avenue South on the report of damage to property. Estimated damage was $2,000.

A report of fraud that allegedly occurred on the 7000 block of Oak Grove Boulevard was taken by officers at the police station.

Officers investigated the report of a found pet on the 7600 block of Lyndale Avenue South. The dog, a corgi, had no tags or chip and was taken to the Bloomington Animal Kennel.

Officers responded to the 6300 block of Lyndale Avenue for a store employee who was assaulted.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 500 block of 73rd Street East.

May 30 – Theft of a tablet was investigated on the 6300 block of Richfield Parkway.

Shoplifting was investigated on the 1000 block of 78th Street West.

A 54-year-old Bloomington woman was arrested on the 7700 block of Portland Avenue South after she was found to be intoxicated while driving with a child in the vehicle.

May 31 – Officers located an unconscious, heavily intoxicated party sleeping on a park bench. A man was later placed on a transport hold.

June 1  Avenue South after she was found to be intoxicated while driving with a child in the vehicle.

June 1 – Officers were called to the intersection of 63rd Street West and Pleasant Avenue South to assist a citizen in locating a stolen phone. A 23-year-old Burnsville man was arrested for possession of stolen property

Officers responded to 66th Street West on the report of an intoxicated man.

An assault on the 6300 block of 15th Avenue South was investigated by officers.

June 2 – Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of 77th Street East for a single-vehicle crash into a tree. A 28-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested for DWI.

Officers were called to the 600 block of 78th Street East on the report of a physical altercation between a juvenile and mother.

June 3 – Officers were called to the 7100 block of Wentworth Avenue South on the report of graffiti.

An investigation into a felony order for protection violation and multiple felony warrants was made on the 900 block of 77th Street East. The man fled from police in a motor vehicle and was not apprehended.

An investigation was made on the 7400 block of 5th Avenue South for damage to property where someone had broken the rear window of a pickup truck overnight. Nothing was taken.

Vandalism was reported on the 7600 block of 4th Avenue South.

A custody dispute report was taken about an incident on the 6200 block of Pleasant Avenue South.

Officers found a bicycle on 63rd Street West.

Officers responded to a disturbance on the 6600 block of Irving Avenue South. A woman told police that a party known to her threatened her with a gun and left prior to officers’ arrival. The man, a 39-year-old Crystal resident, was later located and arrested for assault.

Identity theft was investigated on the 6700 block of Portland Avenue South.

June 4 – Officers investigated a report of shoplifting on the 6400 block of Richfield Parkway.

Officers took the report of forgery on the 6500 block of 12th Avenue South.

Officers were called to the 6400 block of Richfield Parkway on the report of theft. A cooperative employee was in custody.
