Fire/police play hockey to raise money for VEAP

Hockey players from Bloomington’s emergency services met on the ice in a police versus fire department hockey game Sunday at Bloomington Ice Garden. The game served as a food drive for VEAP Food Shelf as fans were encouraged to bring a food donation. According to the police department, 963 pounds of food was donated in addition to $135.
