Trinity Lutheran Church will host TrinityFEST for the fourth year in a row on Sept. 14 and 15. The weekend includes a free concert and festive outdoor worship, and is open to the public.
Saturday, Sept. 14 there will be a concert at 7 p.m. featuring legendary jazz, rhythm and blues vocalist Bruce Henry. “Bruce’s award-winning talent and music has taken him to five continents, garnering a large following in France and the Far East. His fans have heard him on the BBC, performing a Worldwide Radio Live Concert, as well as notable movie soundtracks. Henry has performed on 5 continents in locales such as Manila, Israel, Paris, London, Miami, New York City, Maui, Saipan and Tanzania. Bruce’s journey has resulted in an eclectic style of world-influenced jazz vocals and composition. Bruce possesses a three and one-half octave range, a pure voice with versatility and depth that few can match.” (Andrea Canter, Jazz Police and Jazz Ink) The concert will be held in the Worship Center.
Sunday, Sept. 15 there will be outdoor worship at 10 a.m. under the big tent! Bruce Henry will be our special musical guest leading worship. The festivities will include food trucks, kid’s bounce house, Juggler Mike Munson and more.
