The Community Food Truck Festival will take place Saturday June 15 at Washington County Fairgrounds. Now in its third year, the event will be bigger than before. It features 35 vendors, making it one of the largest food truck festivals in the Midwest. The variety of food will offer something for even the pickiest eater. In addition to these vendors, a beer and wine tent will be open throughout the event.

It’s not just about the food, though. The expanded Market Place and Business Avenue will provide opportunities to engage with a variety of local businesses and business owners. Those who want to learn more about the military can stop by Military Row. The event will also include live music, bingo and an expanded kid’s area complete with bounce houses, balloons, face painting, and other activities for the whole family. In addition to live and local entertainment throughout the day, a highlight will be a 12:30 p.m. performance from an upper Midwest fan favorite, country artist Tim Sigler.

Stacie Jensen of the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce says she is most looking forward to the pizza eating contest - she says it’s “so fun to watch!” This year, the winner will receive a $100 gift card from Papa John’s Pizza in Stillwater.

“Overall,” said Jensen, “it’s a day full of food and family fun!”

The presenting sponsor of the 2019 Food Truck Festival is Diasorin. Royal Credit Union will sponsor the kid’s area, and First State Bank & Trust and Pioneer Press will co-sponsor the music stage.

Cost of admittance is $1 per person (those under the age of 3 are free), and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to scholarship funds, specifically in the trades, to students from Stillwater Area Public Schools.

The event will take place Saturday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Washington County Fairgrounds, 12300 40th St N. in Baytown Township. Parking is available onsite.
