St. Croix Family Resource Center (SCFRC) will facilitate a panel conversation about the affordable housing crisis in Washington County 6:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 at First Presbyterian Church, located at 3201 Osgood Ave. N. in Stillwater.

The Executive Directors from the County Development Agency, the Metropolitan Interfaith Council on Affordable Housing (MICAH) and the St. Croix Family Resource Center will join private affordable housing developer John Duffy in a conversation about the breadth and depth of the problem throughout the county. They also will talk about what each community and their residents can do today to begin to improve the issue.

Other panelists include Barb Darcy, executive director of Washington County Community Development, Sue Watlov Phillips, executive director of MICAH and Cynthia Parsons, executive director of the SCFRC. Bob Dickie, a private practice attorney and community activist, will moderate the conversation.
