There was a small chemical reaction at the Stillwater Mills condo building on Feb. 2 that was mitigated by Stillwater Fire Department and St. Paul Fire Hazmat.
SWFD crews were on scene for five hours cleaning up a chlorine spill in the parking garage, SWFD Chief Stuart Glaser said during staff update during the Stillwater City Council meeting that night during. There were no injuries during the Hazmat incident.
On an unrelated note, Glaser added that any first responders working in the fire department who requested COVID-19 vaccine have now received both doses.
