Revé Bistro and Bar suddenly closed its doors Friday, Aug. 9.

Known for contemporary American fare, owners Matt Stabenow and Nate Stabenow opened the restaurant in 2009.

Revé Bistro and Bar, located at 200 E. Chestnut St. in Stillwater, announced its closure with a sign on the restaurant door and a statement on Facebook.

“After ten years, the time is right. For multiple reasons and with crazy mixed feelings, we have closed Revé Bistro and Bar,” the statement reads.

The owners could not be reached for comment.

Additionally, Lion’s Tavern, located at 324 Main St. S. in Stillwater, closed permanently at the end of July. Mara-Mi also closed its retail storefront on the corner of Chestnut and Main Streets earlier that month.
