Kiwanis of the Stillwater Area recognized Valley Friendship Club with a certificate of appreciation and a check in the amount of $1,000 for their work to create an opportunity for every person with or without a disability to build enduring friendships and embrace community connections.
Kiwanis has supported Valley Friendship Club by providing volunteers at their annual Halloween Party and by connecting them with the Stillwater Area High School Key Club.
“We really value the work Valley Friendship Club does in our community,” said Allissa Obler, vice president of Kiwanis of the Stillwater Area. “It’s a great – and growing – organization and we are happy to support their efforts and give back in any way we can.”
