Community Thread is accepting nominations for the 2021 Community Involvement Awards.

The 46th annual Community Involvement Awards honor the work of exceptional volunteers.

“Volunteers play a key role in helping our community thrive,” Jennifer Kmecik, Volunteer Center Director at Community Thread, said. “The Community Involvement Awards are a way to recognize these volunteers for their dedication and service.”

These awards recognize volunteers in six categories: Youth, Group/Family, Exemplary Employer, Outstanding, Lifetime, and Legacy.

Nominees must be residents or organizations in Washington County who meet the criteria for each award. To complete a nomination form, visit Nominations are due by March 5.

For more than 50 years, Community Thread has connected people, neighborhoods and lives to strengthen the community. The nonprofit’s mission is to leverage resources and volunteers to improve the quality of life for adults and their families in the community.
