Rogers earned two spots on the All-Northwest Suburban Conference boys soccer team after a successful first season in one of the state’s top conference.

The Royals (5-11-1, 5-8) also received two honorable mentions for all-conference. As a team, the Royals finished with the ninth-best record in the 14-team league. The NWSC produced two state tournament entrants this fall in Centennial and Maple Grove.

All-Conference recipients for the Royals included Alex Bowman and Jake Kaeter.

Bowman, a sophomore midfielder, led the Royals scoring. His offensive prowess included a 4-goal performance against Totino-Grace Oct. 1 in a 6-4 win.

Kaeter, a junior goalkeeper, played in every game for the Royals. He stopped 162 shots for the season, and he maintained a .764 save percentage. He also earned a shutout 2-0 against Osseo Sept. 14.

Honorable mention went to Rogers’ Judd Anderson and Isaiah Brown.
