Several notable persons will be speaking at meetings of the Rotary Club of Maple Grove in September.

On Sept. 10, Rotarians and KidPack Leaders Judy Johnson, Tim Deets and Suzanne Plant will discuss the impact of the KidPack Program to create packages of food for students who are nutritionally at risk.

On Sept. 17, Minnesota State Senator Warren Limmer will talk about topics of interest in the Minnesota State Legislature.

On Sept. 24, U.S. Border Control Agent Brent Everson will speak on the challenges of patrolling both the Canadian and the Mexican borders.

The Rotary Club of Maple Grove meets at 6:45 a.m. every Tuesday morning at 3 Squares Restaurant in Maple Grove. The meetings end promptly at 8 a.m. Guests are encouraged and welcome. For more information call Tim Deets at 763-710-0351.
