Maple Grove’s 1st ever Concert on Lawn set for Sept. 14

The first-ever outdoor music festival, Concert on the Lawn, happens this Saturday, Sept. 14, at Central Park of Maple Grove.

The first-ever live music festival at Central Park of Maple Grove happens Saturday, Sept. 14. Four bands will each take the stage on the great lawn area during the Concert on the Lawn event.

The line-up includes the bands the Gear Daddies (country-rock) and New Power Generation (featuring the music of Prince) with special guest vocalist B.Slade.

Special musical guests include The 4onthefloor (blues) and Kat Perkins (Twin Cities rocker).

Concert-goers are invited to bring their own chairs and blankets. No outside coolers, food or beverages will be allowed into the concert.

Food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the show.

Gates open at 4 p.m. The music runs from 5 to 10:30 p.m.

The Concert on the Lawn will happen rain or shine. If there is some rain in the forecast, concert-goers are able to bring in ponchos and raincoats. Umbrellas will not be permitted.

Central Park of Maple Grove is located at 12000 Central Park Way.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $35 at the gate. There are also VIP ticket options.
