The horseshoe courts at the 21st annual Rockford River Days horseshoe tournament resembled a river after rains washed out the top three classes Saturday afternoon.

Classes D, E and F were able to play in the morning session at Rockford Lions Park. The state association sanctioned event featured classes of six pitchers based on ringer percentage.

The Rockford Ringers horseshoe pitching club plays on Wednesday nights with 13 pitchers and on Tuesday morning with eight pitchers. Club members Debi Pool (2), Lori Klein (2) and Bryan Coles (1) finished in the top three in their tourney class.

The top three placers in class D are Ryan Pierce, Art Longen and Stan Bialek. Class E had John Hustings, Debi Pool and Rob Hagman. The top three in class F included Ryan Coles, Lori Klein and Bud Schaefer.
